Payday,
without the spreadsheet
Set what a tank, a course, an office hour and a reserve day are worth. Every trip and course your team runs then prices itself, down to a line you can open and check - and a month you can close.
What everyone earned,
worked out for you
Set the rates once and the work prices itself. Every completed trip, course, office shift and reserve day turns into an earning line against the person who did it - and every line can be opened to see exactly where the number came from.
- Commission per tank, or per diver per tank
- Course pay per course, or per participant
- Hourly office pay, reserve days and boat-master pay
- Monthly salaries alongside commission
Your pay rules, not a spreadsheet's
Dive centres pay differently, and most of them pay differently per person. The rules are yours to set; the arithmetic, the paper trail and the awkward edge cases are ours.
Choose how the work counts
Fun dives pay per tank or per diver per tank. Courses pay per course or per participant. Boat master pays per trip or per dive site. Each choice is priced against a worked example, so nobody picks the one that pays six times too much.
Rates per person and per course
Start with one rate for the centre, then override it for a person, a course type, or a person on a course type. The most specific rate wins, so the senior instructor's rate does not need a separate system.
A rate change never rewrites the past
Each earning stores the rate it was written at. Raise a rate in June and May stays exactly as it was paid - and rates can be dated ahead, so an agreed rise applies on the day it was agreed for.
Salaries alongside commission
Put someone on a monthly amount instead of, or on top of, commission. If the salary already covers their diving, their trips stop adding to their pay while everything else still counts.
Pay periods that close
Close a month and it becomes a payslip: salary is written to the ledger and every line in the range is frozen. Reopening is possible, recorded, and deliberately not easy.
Work that could not be paid is named
A missing rate would otherwise look exactly like a colleague who did not work. Every run reports what it could not price - which trip, which person, which day - instead of quietly paying them less.
Questions worth asking first
Yes. A rate can be set for the whole centre, for one person, for one course type, or for one person on one course type. The most specific rate that applies is the one used.
Nothing. Every earning stores the rate it was written at, so raising a rate today leaves already-earned money exactly as it was. Rates can also be dated ahead, so an agreed rise starts on the day you agreed it for.
Yes. Salary and commission sit alongside each other. If the salary already covers their diving you can mark it so, and their trips stop adding commission while office hours, reserve and adjustments still count.
